This course is designed for personnel who determine, store, mark, label, accumulate, manifest, or otherwise manage hazardous waste and who require training under the EPA Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) regulations.
• Determine whether a waste is hazardous • Identify applicable EPA waste codes • Calculate generator category requirements • Properly store, mark, and label hazardous waste • Manage accumulation areas and container inspections • Prepare hazardous waste manifests and e-Manifests • Comply with emergency preparedness requirements • Manage universal waste and used oil • Meet Land Disposal Restriction (LDR) requirements • Maintain records and avoid common compliance violations
